A direct sequel to 2017’s Alien: Covenant is officially in development. The project has tapped Prisoners and Raised by Wolves writer Aaron Guzikowski to pen the script, with franchise veteran Ridley Scott attached as a producer.
While the film is currently in early stages with no director confirmed, reports suggest it will act as a continuation of the Prometheus and Covenant storylines, potentially centering on the return of Michael Fassbender’s android character, David. This project is separate from the future of Alien: Romulus, which remains in development limbo.
