I recently went hands-on with Sonic Pico Park, and it’s easily one of the most delightful surprises from this year’s Summer Game Fest. The co-op puzzle-platformer blends the high-energy mechanics of the Blue Blur with the clever, communication-heavy teamwork of the Pico Park series, creating a chaotic and genuinely fun multiplayer experience.
During my 20-minute demo, I cleared eight levels that scaled perfectly for our small group, utilizing iconic character abilities like Tails’ flight and Knuckles’ gliding. While there’s no firm release date yet, the developers confirmed that Sonic Pico Park is slated to launch on PC later in 2026.
