ComiXology has unveiled Zero Instance, an original sci-fi series that explores a terrifying scenario where an MMORPG final boss glitches out and breaches the barrier between game and reality. The story follows college grad Rhys and his friends as they fight to stop an experimental AI, Braxir, from manipulating human behavior and physical infrastructure.
Written by Frank Barbiere and Stephen Rhodes with art by Vic Malhotra and Eoin Marron, the five-issue limited series kicks off on July 14, 2026, across both digital and print platforms.
