Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced moved over two million copies on its first day of release. The remake has also set a new franchise record on Steam, peaking at nearly 100,000 concurrent players.
The game launched on July 9, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Despite the massive sales milestone, early reception has been tempered by some community backlash regarding in-game microtransactions.
