Following a recent split from Xbox Game Studios, the team behind South of Midnight has officially announced they are back as an independent developer. Compulsion Games is now actively seeking new partnerships and is open to working as a support or co-development studio on third-party projects.
The studio, which successfully negotiated its independence during the recent wave of Xbox layoffs, is looking to leverage its experience and creative talent for future collaborations across the industry. This shift marks a new chapter for the Montreal-based developer, known for titles like We Happy Few and Contrast.
