A 33-year-old Florida man is in custody after allegedly breaking into a West Palm Beach trading card store using a battery-powered chainsaw. The suspect, identified as Clayton Warren, reportedly caused significant damage to the storefront in a desperate attempt to loot high-value inventory.
The heist, which took place on May 21, was captured on surveillance, and investigators were quickly able to identify the suspect using license plate records and physical evidence left at the scene. The incident marks the latest in a series of brazen thefts targeting rare trading cards across the United States.
