Despite a lukewarm critical reception at the time of its release, Sanderson praised the film’s unfiltered, high-energy style, calling it a “cartoon made live action.” The movie has recently found a second wind thanks to a sold-out 4K and Blu-ray steelbook release, proving that this underappreciated cult classic still has a dedicated fanbase.
