Kohei Ikeda, the former director of Tekken 7 and Tekken 8, has officially joined VS Studio. The Tokyo-based developer was founded earlier this year by veteran producer Katsuhiro Harada following his own departure from Bandai Namco.
Ikeda confirmed the move on social media, noting his excitement to work with former colleagues on new projects. While the studio’s current development pipeline remains under wraps, the team is quickly stacking significant fighting game pedigree.
