Franchise co-creator Dan Aykroyd has offered fans a glimpse into an alternate version of the 1984 classic, revealing early concept art that shows the team wearing helmets. The illustration, created by John Daveikis, depicts a far more tactical aesthetic than the final film.
Aykroyd expressed relief that the look was ultimately scrapped, noting that the original gear—complete with bulky headwear and differently sized proton packs—was a significant departure from the iconic khaki jumpsuits that became cinema history.
