CEO Tim Schafer encouraged fans to support the studio by purchasing these titles, noting that it helps extend the team’s operational runway.
While the transfer process is ongoing, the studio is already looking ahead, announcing the Amnesia Fortnight 2026 indie reboot project. The move comes as Double Fine navigates its new status as an independent studio following a recent restructuring within Microsoft’s gaming division.
