The viral sensation Backrooms, directed by Kane Parsons, has officially secured its streaming debut on HBO Max. Fans can begin streaming the horror hit on Friday, September 25, followed by a linear broadcast on HBO at 8pm ET the next day.
The film previously dominated the box office earlier this year, grossing nearly $400 million globally and becoming A24’s highest-grossing title to date. While an extended 15-minute cut was featured in theaters, it remains unconfirmed if this additional footage will be included in the streaming release.
