Legendary’s upcoming Street Fighter movie takes authenticity seriously, especially when it comes to Chun-Li’s signature physique. Actress Callina Liang’s intense training—which included a diet of a dozen eggs a day—resulted in her thighs growing 6.5 centimeters, eventually outmatching the build of her own stunt double.
Director Kitao Sakurai shared that the production had to resort to using butt pads for the stunt double to ensure she could visually match Liang’s transformation during action sequences. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on October 16, 2026.
