Following the massive box-office success of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, director Destin Daniel Cretton is reportedly attached to helm the fifth installment in Tom Holland’s Marvel and Sony franchise.
Despite a packed schedule that includes a Hawaii Five-O movie and a live-action Naruto adaptation, reports suggest Cretton is the frontrunner to continue the web-slinger’s journey. While an official release date for the project remains unconfirmed, Marvel’s current production slate suggests a target arrival around 2029.
