Paramount’s long-gestating World War Z sequel is finally picking up steam with the confirmation that Brad Pitt will return to the franchise. The studio has also tapped Conclave and All Quiet on the Western Front director Edward Berger to helm the project.
In addition to the new director, Dennis Kelly (Utopia) has been brought on to write the script. Production will be handled by Plan B Entertainment, though plot details and a release date currently remain under wraps.
