Director Naoki Hamaguchi has warned that Final Fantasy 7 Revelation may require around 200GB of storage space at launch. He noted that while the development team is still finalizing the build, the game’s massive scale and visual fidelity necessitate the heavy file size.
Despite the potential storage squeeze, Square Enix remains committed to a physical release for the trilogy’s conclusion. The game is set to launch on April 8, 2027, for PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
