The TARDIS set, which debuted for the 60th anniversary and served as the centerpiece for Ncuti Gatwa’s run, has officially been dismantled. The move marks a definitive end to the current production era as the series remains on hiatus.
With production company Bad Wolf not expected to lead the show’s future, the BBC is currently scouting for a new team to spearhead the series ahead of its planned return in 2028 or 2029.
