Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil adaptation has officially become his highest-grossing film, reaching an estimated $320.2 million globally. The horror hit surged past Weapons ($270 million) in just four weeks, largely driven by a massive opening in China.

While Resident Evil continues to defy expectations, the same cannot be said for The Social Reckoning. The sequel to The Social Network struggled in its opening weekend, pulling in only $9 million against a $30 million budget, cementing its status as a box office disappointment.
