ACE Team’s upcoming cooperative horror title, The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, puts a unique twist on the survival genre by incorporating intense, per-player insanity effects. Set in 17th-century Chile, the game tasks four players with surviving an eldritch jungle where their own perceptions—and their teammates—cannot always be trusted.
The game launches on July 15 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, featuring full crossplay support and a non-procedural, handcrafted world. Players will need to coordinate their limited inventory and gear carefully to survive the island’s horrors, as poor planning often leads to deadly consequences.
