Renowned author and self-described “lifelong gamer” Brandon Sanderson has revealed his strong desire to adapt his iconic Mistborn series into a video game. He noted that the series’ unique magic mechanics would translate naturally to an interactive format, provided he finds the right studio partner for the project.
While no formal game is currently in development, Sanderson emphasized that the collaboration is a long-term goal. Fans of the franchise can look forward to the expansion of the Cosmere RPG tabletop series this November, which includes new sourcebooks covering the world of Scadriel.
