CD Projekt Red has officially announced that Cyberpunk 2077 has surpassed 40 million copies sold. This marks an impressive gain of 5 million units since the developer’s last sales report in November, cementing the game’s status as a remarkable comeback story following its rocky 2020 launch.
Co-CEO Michał Nowakowski credited the game’s lasting appeal as a vital foundation for the studio’s future, including the upcoming Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 anime and the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2, which is currently in development.
