Spike Chunsoft has officially delayed Danganronpa 2×2, moving its release window from 2026 to early 2027. While an exact date is still TBD, the developer promises that the extra time will help ensure the best possible experience for players.
To soften the blow, the studio revealed a new “Slayhem Mode,” a significant remix featuring a completely different storyline, new victims, and fresh culprit reveals. The game is still slated for release on PC, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and will feature updated character portraits and a new 3D world map.
