Paramount is reviving the G.I. Joe franchise with actor, writer, and comedian Danny McBride set to direct the upcoming feature. McBride, known for his work on The Righteous Gemstones, also penned the screenplay for this new installment.
Reports suggest Bradley Cooper is currently being eyed to lead the film, potentially stepping in to replace Chris Hemsworth. This project marks a major push for Paramount as it looks to revitalize the classic Hasbro toy brand following the mixed reception of 2021’s Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins.
