Writer Danny McBride has pulled back the curtain on his upcoming G.I. Joe film, explicitly stating the project is a suspenseful action movie rather than a comedy. McBride revealed the story will center on Duke and a team of Joes tasked with infiltrating the town of Springfield, which is secretly a Cobra stronghold.
