Dead or Alive 6 remains a mechanically excellent 3D fighter, but its “Last Round” re-release is a frustratingly thin value proposition. While it bundles several DLC characters and a new Photo Mode, it lacks critical modern features like cross-platform play and rollback netcode, and it continues to nickel-and-dime players with excessive costume DLC.
The game is available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Existing fans of the series will find the core combat still holds up brilliantly, but the package lacks the meaningful content or technical upgrades to justify a purchase for anyone who already owns the original game.
