Crunchyroll has unveiled the first character designs for the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima: Legends anime series, showcasing the Assassin, Ronin, and Hunter classes. The project features character designs by Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki, with animation handled by studio Aniplex.
Set for a 2027 release on Crunchyroll, the series is being directed by Takanobu Mizuno, with a script penned by Satoshi Maejima and Gen Urobuchi of NITRO PLUS. The show will explore the game’s mythological “Legends” multiplayer mode as it translates the Sucker Punch title to the screen.
