The studio stated that these claims are not an accurate reflection of the company’s financial situation, noting that current owner Max Krippa funded the majority of the game’s development budget.
In its statement, the developer clarified that Grygorovych has not been involved in production or partnership negotiations, and dismissed his remarks as personal speculation. GSC Game World is currently finalizing a significant update and the first major story DLC for the title.
