Developer Dragami Games has confirmed that a live-action Lollipop Chainsaw film is officially in development. Billed as an R-rated action-comedy, the movie will serve as a prequel to the cult-classic video game.
The project, which is being produced by an international team, follows protagonist Juliet Starling as she fights through a high school zombie outbreak. This film joins an expanding franchise that already includes a recent remaster and an upcoming game sequel, Lollipop Chainsaw 2: Back2Back.
