Disney+ has officially greenlit a new Darkwing Duck animated series, featuring Mark Hamill as the iconic masked vigilante and Seth Rogen as his sidekick, Launchpad McQuack. Rogen is also serving as a producer on the project, which aims to bring the classic hero into a new era.
The series will follow a “heroic past” premise where a teenage character named Duckie pulls a long-dormant Darkwing back into action to battle legendary villains like Negaduck and Megavolt. The star-studded voice cast also includes Lizzy Caplan, Dan Stevens, and Kathryn Newton.
