Legendary director Ridley Scott has revealed he is stepping back into the Alien franchise, citing his belief that the series currently “needs some help” following the release of 2024’s Alien: Romulus.
Despite the film’s critical and commercial success, Scott confirmed he is actively rewriting the next installment in the sci-fi horror series. He also reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the prequel trilogy started with Prometheus and Alien: Covenant, which will further explore the story of Michael Fassbender’s android, David.
