Ryan Gosling has officially joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ghost Rider, and he didn’t come to the table empty-handed. Kevin Feige confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 that the actor approached Marvel with a “specific vision” for the character rooted in his love for the original comics.
While Feige is keeping details under wraps for now, the highly anticipated film is slated to ride into theaters in 2028. The project will be helmed by Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy with a script penned by Jonathan Tropper.
