Snap Inc. has officially opened preorders for its first-ever augmented reality glasses, dubbed SPECS. The advanced wearable computer is slated to ship in the U.S., U.K., and France this fall, with a reservation price of $2,195, including a $200 refundable deposit.
Built from lightweight Swiss TR90 thermoplastic, the glasses feature dual Snapdragon processors and Snap OS 2.0. They offer a tetherless experience with a four-hour battery life, which can be extended up to 20 hours using the included charging case.
