Lucasfilm dropped the first trailer for the upcoming standalone movie Star Wars: Starfighter during this year’s D23 event. The footage introduces Ryan Gosling as pilot Kade Auberon and features intense dogfighting sequences set against new, otherworldly landscapes.
Directed by Shawn Levy, the film is set after The Rise of Skywalker and promises a fresh story with no legacy characters. Fans can catch Star Wars: Starfighter in theaters starting May 28, 2027.
