Shift Up’s CEO Hyungtae Kim has confirmed that no final decisions have been made regarding launch platforms for the newly announced Stellar Blade: Blood Rain. While the original title was a PlayStation 5 console exclusive, the studio is now self-publishing the sequel and aiming for a wider reach.
Kim emphasized a desire to bring the game to as many fans as possible, noting that the studio is prioritizing support for current-gen hardware and PCs to navigate the rising costs and technical challenges currently facing the gaming industry.
