CD Projekt Red has officially unveiled The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past, a surprise expansion set to revisit the world of the 2015 RPG. The announcement at gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 introduced the new, idyllic region of Letten and showcased a brand-new chain weapon for Geralt.
The expansion is currently slated for a 2027 release on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Developed in collaboration with Fool’s Theory, the DLC serves as a final, standalone adventure for Geralt before the franchise shifts focus to The Witcher 4.
