Tides of Annihilation, a new action-adventure title from developer Eclipse Glow Games, puts players in the shoes of a survivor fighting off an otherworldly invasion within a ruined, post-apocalyptic London. Our hands-on time revealed a combat system that balances fast-paced swordplay with strategic, summonable “Round Table” knights that add depth without unnecessary complexity.
While the game impresses with its fluid animations, responsive combat, and creative boss encounters, the movement controls—specifically sprinting and jumping—currently feel a bit stiff and in need of polish. No official release date has been set, but the game is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
