Claude Guillemot, a key figure behind the founding of gaming giant Ubisoft, has died following a fatal plane crash in La Baule, France. He was 69 years old.
Guillemot, who served as CEO and chairman of the Guillemot Corporation, was piloting his twin-engine Cessna 421 when the accident occurred. Ubisoft has officially confirmed the loss and expressed their condolences to his family.
