After a confusing social media post left fans worried, Ubisoft has confirmed that the iconic “drunk” Animus loading screen from the original 2013 game will indeed return in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
The remake of the pirate-themed classic is set to launch on July 9, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Along with the returning drunken stumble, the developers have confirmed that the game will include a no-HUD option and gore in combat.
